We are a diverse community of faith connecting with God and one another for the purpose of expanding His Kingdom.
Monterey Ministries was formed by and for Monterey Church, and shares the same Mission: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
– The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20)
Our vision is to GO and plant churches in all 50 states, partner with churches in 50 different countries (through organizations such as Compassion International or similar organizations), and sponsor over 50,000 impoverished children from these countries
In a world where more than a billion children live on less than U.S. $2 per day, connecting one child with one sponsor is the most strategic way to end child poverty. Monterey Ministries has partnered with Compassion International to sponsor impoverished children and end the cycle of poverty.
